Your custom drawn home plans are construction-ready documents, guaranteed to be as specified, and to be completed in a professional manner according to standard practices. The engineering for special designs such as seismic, hurricane, or snow loads is not included. Your contractor or local building inspector should review the plans for compliance with your local building codes. Any H.V.A.C. design should be provided locally.
Each set of blueprints shall provide complete dimensions, door and window sizes, notes and any other technical points about the construction of your home. The information is furnished in clear and standard-to-the-industry language. Our blueprint packages include the following (as a standard package):
- Floor Plan: First floor and second floor, when applicable, with full dimensions, electrical layout, door and window sizes, and any other pertinent details as required.
- Foundation Plan: Crawl space foundation provided unless a plan specifies a basement or slab foundation. Included are all dimensions, type and size of foundation wall and footing, floor framing, and details as required.
- Exterior Elevations: Front, rear, and side elevation drawings and details as required.
- Cross Sections and Detail Sections: As required.
Other optional items, such as roof plan, cabinet elevations, plot plan, heating and plumbing plans, detailed specifications, material list, and other items as required can be provided as necessary. Ask for an additional quote on any or all of these items.
