THE PROCESS

Planning Meeting:  This is time for me to learn what you are looking for in the house that you want.  Tell me all you can about your ideas, make sketches, cut pictures from magazines...whatever it takes to tell me what your dream home is to be like.  Planning meetings can be by snail mail, e-mail, telephone, fax, or face to face.  You will be quoted a good-faith estimate of the final cost of your custom drawn plan at this time;  if you accept this estimate, you will be required to make a deposit of 25% of this good faith estimate for me to begin a preliminary plan.

Preliminary Plan:  After the planning meeting and from the information given, a preliminary plan is drawn, showing the floor plan,  room sizes and other things that are important.  The plan will be forwarded to you for approval.  The actual construction plans will be generated from this preliminary plan.  Once the kinks have been worked out of this preliminary plan, and you accept the results, another payment of 25% of the good faith estimated cost will be required.  These preliminary plans may be hand drawn or CAD drawn.

Final Plans:  The final plans are what is required by the mortgage company for appraisal, and by the contractor for bidding and construction of your new home.  All plans are hand drawn on vellum with pencil.  Five sets of blueprinted plans will be available as standard, with extra blueprinted plan sets being available at extra cost.  You will be notified of planned shipping, at which time you will be billed for the final cost.  Upon receipt of the final payment, we will ship the completed blueprints.  Since these are custom drawn plans, they are not returnable nor refundable;  however, your complete satisfaction is guaranteed to the extent that we will correct any discrepancies that you might encounter.  Our ultimate goal is your complete satisfaction.
